Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable imaging day and night available.SOLUTION: An aperture of a diaphragm 210 is adjusted by changing an overlap amount between two iris blades 212 arranged to face each other. An IR filter 216 is arranged at a cut out 214 of the iris blades 212. An amount of incident light is detected when the diaphragm 210 is in an initial aperture state. An amount of incident light is detected after changing an aperture diameter when the diaphragm 210 is driven to a small aperture side or driven to an open side in order to alter ratio between visible light and infrared light passing an aperture formed by the diaphragm 210. A composition of visual light and infrared light in the scene from detection result of the amounts of incident light and ratio of the amounts of incident light between the visible light and the infrared light is calculated at each time when the diaphragm is in the initial aperture state, and when the aperture diameter is changed. The aperture diameter of the diaphragm 210 is reset, if necessary.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
