To provide a method for setting molding conditions which features the availability of a combination of performances desired by a designer without the necessity to search such a combination in a trial and error fashion, and the ability to extensively deal with the change of circumstances.
This method for setting molding conditions is aimed at making a plurality of objective performances an optimal value by combining optimal techniques assisted by injection molding analysis and a computer. In addition, this method comprises an optimization process to seek a Pareto optimal analysis of the objective performances using a multipurpose genetic algorithm and a selection process to select the molding conditions from among the sought Pareto optimal analyses.
