Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a method for shaping after casting of at least one of the end portions of the rigid internal socket of en elastic joint having a coaxial ring and the elastic joint made in accordance with this method.
CONSTITUTION: The annular reinforcement 6 is formed by the local creep between half metal molds imposing an external shape and a rivet head former oscillating about the diagonal axis of a conical orbit of a small angle about the axis of parts to exert reaction on the plane on the opposite side of the rigid internal socket 1 without exerting a significant stress on the elastomeric compound of an elastic sleeve 3. One of the end portion flat surfaces 5 of the rigid internal socket may be provided with at least one projecting element like an annual rib 18 or radial filament 19.
