To provide a method for sharing educational know how which realizes sharing of know how between users exceeding the range of a system wherein a server for sharing is arranged.
The educational know how sharing server 102 provides services of registration, retrieval and reference of the educational know how to a user terminal 100. Upon accepting retrieval condition of the educational know how from a user, educational know how data 126 storing in its own server are retrieved to acquire a result, and also, the retrieval condition is transmitted to another sharing server B 104 corresponding to a server name stored in like server data 138. The retrieval result from the sharing server B is received and provided to the user together with the retrieval result of the local server and the result received from the other server.
