Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method for sizing a metal sleeve for obtaining a finished product correctly formed and sized.
CONSTITUTION: A sleeve 10 is inserted into a seamless die 20, and next a magnetic coil assembly 40 is arranged inside the sleeve 10 so as not to come into contact with the sleeve 10. After sealing the die 20, vacuum is created inside the die 20, and the magnetic coil assembly 40 is operated. Whereby, the sleeve 10 is expanded against the die 20.
