Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the method and the solution for processing a silver halide photographic sensitive material capable of obtaining a photographic image superior in the storage stability of an image after processing.
CONSTITUTION: The silver halide photographic sensitive material is imagewise exposed and processed with the processing solution and then processed with a processing solution containing a cyclodextrine derivative, such as α- cyclodextrine, heptakis-2,6-dimethyl-β-cyclodextrine, γ-cyclodextrine combined with 2 glucose molecules, and a cyclodextrine polymer obtained by cross-linking cyclodextrines with epichlorohydrine and having fixing ability.
