Abstract:
To provide a new method for spraying a monolithic refractory with large corrosion resistance against molten metal and molten slag, and with excellent physical properties such as bulk density, porosity and flexural strength.
In this method for spraying a monolithic refractory, a refractory aggregate, refractory powder, a binder, and a powder refractory composite containing scaly graphite are supplied in a transfer pipe through air flow in a powder condition, and is transferred while it is floating in the transfer pipe. In the middle of the transfer pipe, working water is added, then transferred through the air flow, and sprayed through a spray nozzle.
