To stably store a liquid inspection reagent after dissolution or opening for a long period of time by piling an air shield substance of less specific gravity than that of a reagent, without mixing the reagent on the surface of the liquid reagent.
If the specific gravity (density) of an air shield substance is lower than that of a target reagent, it does not mix with the reagent and is non-volatile, it is not specifically limited and can be used. More preferably it is liquid at normal temperature, and a specific gravity difference between the air shield substance and the reagent does not exceed 0.05-3.0. Generally, the specific gravity is low for liquid clinical examination reagent, non-volatile oil is preferably utilized, for instance, the specific gravity does not exceed 0.7-0.9, particularly about 0.86 chain hydrocarbon, cydic hydrocarbon, ether, ketone, ester, silicone oil or the like and their derivatives are mentioned. Thereby since contact of the reagent which has become liquid and the air can be effectively shielded, property of the reagent can be stably held over a long period of time, and accumulate measuring value can be obtained.
