Title:
METHOD OF STARTING ASYNCHRONOUS MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3263287
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start an asynchronous machine quickly by a method, wherein a stator flux and a rotor flux have a same phase to make a generated moment zero and the supply frequency of an inverter is synchronized with the revolutions at which the rotor of the asynchronous machine can rotate.
SOLUTION: A power is supplied to a 3-phase asynchronous machine 1 by an inverter 2 connected to a DC voltage intermediate circuit UDC. A control system 3 which controls the inverter 2 measures the currents isa and isb of 2 phases among three-phase currents supplied to the asynchronous machine 1. When the asynchronous machine 1 is started, a zero-moment is set as the target of the control system 3. As the control system 3 is given the zero-moment as reference, it controls a stator flux in relation to a rotor flux to correct a generated moment. Thus the revolution of the stator flux is matched with the revolution of the rotor flux. As the stator flux has no inertia, its frequency can reach a value further higher without delay.
