Abstract:
PURPOSE: To sterilize a food or drug without deteriorating the natures and tastes of ingredients contained in the food or drug by combining a thermal sterilization process at a temperature of ≤100°C with a pressure sterilization process under a pressure of ≤7000 atmospheres.
CONSTITUTION: A food or drug is pressed under a pressure of 2000 to 7000 atmospheres and subsequently heated to a temperature of ≤100°C, preferably 40-70°C, or the food or drug is heated to temperature of ≤100°C, preferably 40-70°C, and subsequently pressed under a pressure of 2000 to 7000 atmospheres.
