To provide a method for sticking an anti-biofouling sheet, capable of sticking the sheet on an adherend surface, without requiring time and effort, by making it possible that uniform compression force is easily obtained, even when the adherend surface has a complicated shape.
This method for sticking the anti-biofouling sheet comprises applying an adhesive 3 to the adherend surface 2 contacted with a medium of installation and equipment, such as a heat exchanger, a pipe line, and a water channel, in which a fluid, such as sea water, capable of making an organism live therein is used as the medium, and then sticking the anti-biofouling sheet 1 thereon, wherein an outer surface of the anti-biofouling sheet 1 is covered with a cover 4 having high airtightness at first, then a boundary area of a peripheral part of the cover 4 and the adherend surface 2 is hermetically sealed by a sealant tape 5, further air inside the cover 4 is sucked and a negative-pressure layer is formed therein, so that the cover 4 is made to generate the compression force toward the anti-biofouling sheet 1, and therefore the anti-biofouling sheet 1 is adhered to the adherend surface 2.
