Title:
METHOD OF STICKING POROUS TETRAFLUOROETHYLENE RESIN AND STRUCTURE THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0740442
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable application to be performed to a hydrophilic porous body without impairing the porous structure by arranging thermoplastic resin having a specific melting point or lower, and subsequently compressing the part to be stuck at a temperature of the specific melting point or lower, and further permitting the melted thermoplastic resin to enter the porous cavities of a specific resin porous body.

CONSTITUTION: This method is to stick porous tetrafluoroethylene resin each other. Folding back one end of a sheet-like porous tetrafluoroethylene resin(PTFE) 1, a sheet-like thermoplastic resin 5 is held in the recession of the folded end. The sheet-like thermoplastic resin 5 is superimposed on the external face of the folded end, and then one end of another sheet-like porous PTFE or another end 2 of the same sheet-like porous PTFE is laid thereon. Following this, the five-layered part is compressed from both the outsides at a temperature of molten point or higher and 250°C or lower of the thermoplastic resin 5. As a result, they enter the porous cavities of the thermoplastic resin porous PTFE, thereby allowing the porous PTFE to be stuck each other.
