PURPOSE: To eliminate a tentative fixing stage from an sticking process by sticking the thin film corresponding to the length of a substrate by means of press contact rollers.

CONSTITUTION: The front end of the laminated thin film 1B consisting of a photosensitive resin film and a transparent resin film is attracted to the front end 6D of a supplying member 6. The member 6 is brought near to the sticking surface side at the front end of the substrate 14 and the front end of the thin film 1B is continuously supplied. A holding device 16 holds the front end of the thin film 1B in an sticking position. The member 16 is parted from the sticking surface and the press contact rollers 11 are brought into proximity to the front end of the thin film 1B held in the sticking position and are rotated to stick the thin film to the thin film sticking surface of the substrate 14. The rear end of the thin film 1B is cut by a cutter 13A in accordance with the length of the substrate 14 a the rear end of the cut thin film 1B is stuck to the sticking surface at the rear end of the substrate 14 by the rollers 11.
