To provide an intimin which is an adhesive protein of enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli (EHEC) expressed by a transgenic plant singly or as a fused protein with one or more other antigens, and also to use the plant as a vehicle for stimulating the defensive immunological response against the EHEC and 1 other antigens.

This xenogeneic DNA-constructed material is provided by encoding the expression of the intimin, an intimin-like protein or a part of them in the plant, and holding the binding capacity of the intimin, intimin-like protein and a part of them with epithelium cells and also inducing the antibodies for blocking the bonding of bacteria expressing the intimin or intimin-like protein with the epithelium cells.
