Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the disintegration of the titled superconductor or the deterioration of the superconductive characteristics due to absorption and deliquescence by immersing the superconductor in an org. liq.
CONSTITUTION: An oxide type superconductor represented by the formula (L1 M2Cu3O7-x where L is a rare earth element and M is an alkaline earth metal) and having an oxygen-deficient laminar perovskite structure is immersed in an org. liq. and stored. The org. liq. is selected among monohydric alcohols and ketones.
