Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a protective operation storing method which, when an operation to protect an inverter is performed, holds stored data in the past and holds a cause immediately before a protective operation when the inverter can be recovered and that information is provided for maintenance and service.
CONSTITUTION: A protective operation detecting means, a means which stores a plurality of times of the causes of the detected protective operations in the order of occurrence and a means which detects the breakage of a main device are provided. The causes of the protective operations in the past are read out of the memory means and provided as the information and, if the cause of the protective operation is the breakage of a device, that cause is not stored. If the cause of the protective operation of an inverter is the breakage of the device, the storing operation of the protection data is not performed even if a reset operation is repeated but the protection data before the device breakage is maintained and the cause immediately before the protective operation when the inverter is not recovered can be held, so that the cause of the device breakage can be estimated by providing such information for maintenance and service.
