Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an cumulative load estimating method whereby cumulative load repeatedly applied to a structural body and its hysteresis can be estimated easily at a low cost.
SOLUTION: A line of magnetic force 10 is embedded in a beam 12 and is designed to take the same behavior as the beam 12 when the beam 12 received load repeatedly. The line of magnetic force line 10 has the property of changing (decreasing) in magnetic flux density when it receives load repeatedly. Therefore, by measuring the magnetic flux density using a fluxmeter 14, the cumulative load repeatedly applied to the beam 12 and its hysteresis can be estimated.
