Abstract:
To enable airtightness of an anchorage zone of a PC steel wire or a PC steel wire strand to be secured by easy construction.
There is provided a method for sealing an anchorage zone by filling a filler such as shrinkage-compensating mortar into a recess 3 in which the anchorage zone of PC steel 5 of a PC member 1 is arranged. In the method, a coating agent such as an epoxy adhesive expressing airtightness high enough to inhibit intrusion of air into a sealing part 7 after hardening is applied to a surface of the sealing part 7 made of the filler filled into the recess 3 and is hardened to thereby form an airtight layer 8.
