A network system for managing commercial transaction is provided which provides network paths between a plurality of computers at remote locations and includes network service providing a plurality of network software interfaces at the remote locations. Bundle processing logic is used between the plurality of computers at the remote locations, and the logic is responsive to a series of instructions to detect predetermined conditions in content attribute descriptors associated with the bundles and to perform operations in response to the detection of the predetermined conditions. A programming interface for the bundle processing logic is also provided which can be accessed from each of the remote locations and can operate to define at least a part of the series of instructions for the bundle processing logic.
