PURPOSE: To improve the operating efficiency, by supplying compressed air to a yarn ending machine and doffing machine, patrolling around a spinning machine, and standing by in a pair of stations for supplying the compressed air thereto.
CONSTITUTION: The yarn ending and doffing operation is carried out respectively by a yarn ending machine 1 and a doffing machine 2 running and patrolling on a rail 5 laid around a machine frame (3a) of a spinning machine 3. A pair of stations 6 and 6 are provided along the running rail 5 at the ends of the machine frmae (3a), and supply ports 10 for compressed air are provided therein. The yarn ending machine 1 and the doffing machine 2 are respectively started to run from the different stations 6 to carry out the operation. One of the machines 1 and 2 arrives at one of the stations 6 and 6 and receives the supply of compressed air to the interior of a pressure accumulator built therein in standing by till the arrival of the other machine at the other station 6.
