Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for supplying a reduction gas to a blast furnace shaft part capable of supplying a large amount of reductive gas containing high concentration of hydrogen to deeper position in a blast furnace and reducing COgeneration amount summing COamount reduced by hydrogen refinement by the blast furnace and COamount generated during manufacturing the reduction gas.SOLUTION: A reduction gas by generating a modified gas rich in hydrogen gas by modifying a coke furnace gas with increasing temperature to 1200 to 1800°C in a reactor in which an oxygen-containing gas is supplied to preheated coke furnace gas, then mixing a CO-containing gas to the modified gas in the reactor and adjusting hydrogen concentration to 15 to 35 vol.% (wet) is supplied to a high blast furnace shaft part under a condition with a ratio of reduction gas blow flow amount to the shaft part/gas blow flow amount to a tuyere of over 0.42 to 1.0 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
