PURPOSE: To supply a lubricating oil to the outside surface of a metallic tube so that burning is not caused on the outside surface of the metallic tube also in the case of drawing in which the drawn part of a die is provided at least in two places.

CONSTITUTION: The method is for supplying a lubricating oil in the drawing of a tube in which the drawn part of a die is provided at least in two places consecutively; oil supply nozzles 6, 7 are provided just before the drawn part of the dies 1, 2; and a prescribed quantity of the lubricating oil is supplied from each of the oil supply nozzles 6, 7 at the time of drawing.
