PURPOSE: To improve combustion efficiency, by mixing a plurality of gas fuels within respective available feed rates, and determining a required feed rate of respective gas fuels such that the ratio of theoretical amount of air to the square root of density of the mixed gas fuel becomes equal to an aimed value.
CONSTITUTION: Gas fuels AWC having different burning characteristics and different available feed rates are supplied from respective generating stations 1W3 and stored in respective tanks 7W9. These fuels AWC are carried to a mixing means 16 via respective flow control valves 10W12 and flow meters 13W15. Mixed fuel thus obtained in the mixing means 16 is then carried to a combustor 20 via gas- composition analyzing means 18 and a flow meter 19 having a restriction. In a computor 21, an aimed feed rate of each fuel is determined by use of available feed rates of respective fules pre-stored in the computor 21, theoretical amount of air A0, density ρ of mixed fuel and an aimed value of A0/ρ1/2 of the mixed fuel, such that the actual value of A0/ρ1/2 of the mixed fuel becomes equal to the aimed value.
