To prevent the communication service from being not available because a battery power supply can not be used for a long time in emergency in the communication service system where the communication service is applied to pluralities of subscriber communication terminals by using an optical subscriber line terminal box that contains optical fiber lines of overhead optical communication cables on poles and pluralities of subscriber communication electric wires and is operated by using commercial power supply normally but using a built-in battery power supply in emergency.
A power input output terminal board 2 is installed on a pole P1, a power supply main cable 3 extended from its output terminal is contained in optical subscriber line terminal boxes G1, G2, G3 and a power supply cable connects with the output terminal of the power input output terminal board 2 usually. In emergency, a generator is carried in the vicinity of the pole and a generator power supply cable connects with the output terminal of the power input output terminal board 2.
