Title:
METHOD OF SUPPRESSING OCCURRENCE OF UNBURNED FUEL IN COMBUSTION OF SOLID FUEL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS61246291
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the amount of an unburned fuel of a solid fuel for improving combustion efficiency and reducing load of an unburned fuel-removing apparatus, by impregnating a solid fuel with an iron salt soln. and/or a calcium salt soln. prior to combustion of the fuel.

CONSTITUTION: A solid fuel such as coal is impregnated with a small amount of an iron salt soln. or a calcium salt soln. or a mixture of them. Preferred iron salt soln. is an aq. iron nitrate soln., and preferred calcium salt soln. is an aq. calcium nitrate soln. The combustion of the above fuel brings about not only reduction in the amount of unburned fuel, leading to an improvement in combustion efficiency, but also an improvement in the quality of fly ash, leading to an improvement in its versatility.
