Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for suppressing reduction of viscosity of an ink composition containing a coloring agent, especially a pigment.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for suppressing reduction of viscosity of an ink composition containing at least a coloring agent represented by the following formula (1), a dispersant, a modified styrene-acrylic polymer and water where the dispersant is an A-B block polymer obtained by copolymerization based on a living radical polymerization method using a mixture of an organic tellurium compound and an organic ditellurium compound or the like as a polymerization initiator. In the formula (1), Rand Rrepresent each independently a methyl group or the like and M represents Ba or the like.
