Title:
METHOD FOR SUPPRESSING SILICA SCALE OF REVERSE OSMOSIS MEMBRANE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2019098298
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide water containing silica such as river water or ground water is treated as a feed water with a reverse osmosis membrane to produce pure water, the silica scale is suppressed to stabilize the membrane performance.SOLUTION: In water treatment in which feed water containing silica is passed through the reverse osmosis membrane, representing that the amount of feed water to the reverse osmosis membrane is VFm/d, the amount of concentrate water is VCm/d, and the silica concentration in the feed water is CSmg/L, and when the following equation (1) is satisfied, a method for suppressing silica scale of a reverse osmosis membrane sets the permeation flux of the reverse osmosis membrane to 0.6 m/d or less and open the back pressure valve at least 1 time every 3 days, and performs pressure-release water passing through feed water at one third or less of the set permeation flux. CS×VF/VC>120 (1).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
