Abstract:
PURPOSE: To form a recess on the surface of a machine component despite its large size.
CONSTITUTION: A machine component A is supported by a pair of drive rolls 1, 2 and rotated, and a high pressure fluid containing hard particles is sprayed to its surface from nozzles 7. 8 of a spraying jig 4 located right above the machine component A, and a recess is produced on the surface by means of this bombardment with the particles.
