Abstract:

PURPOSE: To quickly increase or decrease the swing speed of a dredger by a method in which a deceleration controller to send out signals according to a preset deceleration pattern is provided, and the output torque of the brake side motor is controlled by the deceleration controller.

CONSTITUTION: A deceleration controller 30 to send out speed command VC on the basis of a preset deceleration pattern, a torque commander 31 to send out torque command signal ST on the basis of the speed command VC, the present speed V, and various constants, and a converter 32 are provided. The present swing speed V is compared with the speed command VC, and when the speed V is increased or decreased beyond an allowable value, an armature current command signal S1a is sent out from the converter 32 to control the ouput torque of the brake side motor DCM1. The swing speed can thus be quickly reduced when the driving point A is approached, and the operational efficiency can be raised.
