Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a synthetic equalization testing method of a breaker capable of easily and adequately executing the checking of restriking/breaking property in the occurrence of multiple-strokes discharge by a facility already settled.

CONSTITUTION: A current source circuit and a skeet circuit are overlapped to a breaker 1 to be tested. A low cycle current generating circuit that discharges electric charge of a capacitor 21 to a reactor 22 to obtain a low cycle current is provided and a low cycle energizing circuit is interposed to the breaker 1 to be tested. In the testing, a low cycle current is firstly supplied thereto to generate an arc discharge by opening and closing the breaker 1 to be tested. Next, a short current is overlapped thereto. After that, when auxiliary breakers 6, 26 of the current source circuit and low cycle energizing circuit are opened, the short current is cut in the half wave and a current of a voltage power source is cut so that TRV is applied to the electrodes of the breaker 1 to be tested. By the above series of operations, a restriking/breaking property in the occurrence of multiple-strokes discharge is checked.
