Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that an appropriate periodical life assessment system has not been devised for automatically or as needed for assessing the life of a power system, in place of periodical inspection by maintenance person nel.
SOLUTION: A method and a system for assessing the life of the power system involve a storage device 254 and 354 installed at at least one of an electric power station 1A1, a power supply-side base 2, and a product supply-side base 3; an assessment program which is installed in the storage device and assesses the life of either or both of the equipment and the equipment controller installed in an electric power station when an event occurs in either or both of the equipment and the equipment controller, when a command for starting an assessment is issued by person and with a preset timing; and a display unit 252 and/or 352 which is installed at either or both of the power supply-side base and the product supply-side base and displays the result of the life assessment by the assessment program.
