PURPOSE: To provide method and system for controlling the weight of rubber bail in which unvulcanized rubber transferred continuously from an unvulcanized rubber feeder is automatically cut, in a short time with high accuracy, into a rubber bail having weight within a prescribed range and compensated.

CONSTITUTION: The weight control system for rubber bail comprises a receiving conveyor 2 connected with an unvulcanized rubber feeder 1, a weighing conveyor 3 connected substantially in linear with the receiving conveyor 2, a cross-sectional area measuring sensor 11 comprising distance sensors disposed above and on the opposite sides of the receiving conveyor 2, and a bail cutter 5 disposed above the receiving conveyor 2 at one end thereof. Furthermore, the receiving conveyor 2 is provided with a sensor 12 for measuring the distance of unvulcanized rubber X, the weighing conveyor 3 is provided with a platform balance 4, and the receiving conveyor 2 and the weighing conveyor 3 are provided, respectively, with conveyor drive motors 13, 13.
