Abstract:

To reliably design a turbo type fluid machinery of high performance in a method for designing the turbo type fluid machinery.

In the method for designing the turbo type fluid machinery having an impeller to suck the fluid from a center and discharge it in the outer circumferential direction by using a computer, an optimum design of a member to constitute a flow field of the fluid is performed by using a genetic algorithm in which an individual forming a candidate solution with a plurality of design variables assembled therewith is expressed by a gene for outbreak, and the genetic operation is repeated to the individual group to search for a solution thereof.
