To provide a temperature-independent LC type oscillator which meets the requirements of frequency stability and jitter, and utilizes an integration resolving technique depending upon an existing optimum process procedure in the CMOS technology.
The LC type oscillator substantially independent of temperature is obtained by using an LC type oscillator tank 10 which generates tank oscillation with a phase substantially equal to a temperature null phase. The temperature null phase refers to the phase of the LC oscillator tank 10 when a frequency variation of LC oscillator output oscillation caused by a temperature variation is minimized. The LC oscillator further includes a frequency stabilization circuit which is connected to the LC oscillator tank 10 to oscillate the LC oscillator tank 10 with a phase substantially equal to the temperature null phase.
