Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency stop method and an emergency stop system of a carrying truck for improving the safety, especially the human safety of the carrying truck.
SOLUTION: In this method, a travelling speed of the carrying truck 1 is detected, and if the detected speed exceeds a prescribed speed, an emergency stop instruction plate 21 arranged in a travelling direction and ahead of the carrying truck is made to rise on the road surface. The risen emergency stop instruction plate 21 is detected by a emergency stop instruction plate detection means 50 arranged in the carrying truck 1, and based on the detection signal, the carrying truck is brought into an emergency halt.
