PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for enabling the clear recognition of a destination by a route guidance.SOLUTION: A destination information provision method in a positioning-base service determines whether a target specified by a user is in proximity when guiding a route using a map screen that is mapped with positional information of the user; and may include activation of a visual notification function on the destination when approaching the destination.
