Abstract:

To provide a method and system for generating program-related information that can generate the program-related information in a data broadcast service at a low cost in a short time and flexibly cope with even a state change in real time broadcasting.

The system consists of a 1st database storing various data being sources of the program-related information, a 2nd database 102 storing generation rules that defines index information acting like a generation trigger of the program-related information and generation functions to generate the program-related information in cross-reference with each other, a trigger detection means 103 that receives the index information provided to contents to detect the index information stored as the generation trigger, and a program- related information generating means 104 that references the various data in the 1st database on the basis of the generation trigger and the generation functions corresponding thereto when the detection means 103 detects the generation trigger so as to generate the program-related information.
