METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR INTEGRATING SOUND ATTENUATOR INTO FILTER BANK

To provide a filter bank.

The filter bank includes a housing 301 having a front face and a back face. Air flows along an air flow path 314 from the front face to the back face. A filter layer 302 is held in the housing. The filter layer is extended between the front face and the back face in such a direction that air flows through the filter layer before discharging from the back face. A sound attenuation layer 304 is positioned within the housing to attenuate sound as the sound propagates between the front face and back face. The sound attenuation layer is positioned to extend along the air flow direction.
