Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing a fuel oil from coal with water in an amount as less as possible.SOLUTION: A production method of a fuel oil from coal, which liquefies a coal raw material to produce the fuel oil, includes the steps of: supplying coal into a pyrolyzer, and while adding superheated steam of 800-1,000°C into the pyrolyzer on the basis of the carbon content and the water content so that the molar ratio of carbon to water is from 1:1 to 1:3 and blowing oxygen or air thereinto at 900-1,850°C, adjusting the volume ratio of hydrogen gas to hydrocarbon gas in pyrolysis gas generated at 1.3-7 Mpa to from 1:9 to 4:6 to pyrolyze the coal; purifying the generated gas; separating the purified gas into an aqueous component and a crude hydrocarbon component containing hydrogen; and after the hydrogenolysis of the separated crude hydrocarbon by the hydrogen contained therein, purifying the crude hydrocarbon.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
