PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for protecting a client against unknown malicious activities.SOLUTION: An evaluation server 106 queries a database 110 including evaluation information associated with a plurality of links to read evaluation of a redirected link. The evaluation information indicates whether the plurality of links are associated with a malicious activity. The evaluation of the redirected link is associated with the original link to create an evaluation of the original link.
