Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for reducing the volume of incinerating ash discharged from various incinerators such as a municipal waste incinerator, an industrial waste incinerator, and a sludge incinerator, pyrolysis furnaces, melting furnaces, or the like.
SOLUTION: A system for reducing the volume of incineration ash is constituted of a crushing means 12 for crushing the incineration ash 11, a particle size adjusting means 13 for classifying the crushed incineration ash 11, a water plasma irradiation means 18 having a water plasma burner 17 which generates a plasma jet 14 by supplying the adjusted incineration ash 11 and forms a flame- spraying substance 16 in a material 15 to be flame-sprayed, and a gas treatment means 20 for treating a harmful gas 19 generated together with the plasma.
