Abstract:

To provide a treatment method capable of separating and recovering a calcium component and a lead component from fine powder containing the calcium component and the lead component with a small number of treatment steps and chemicals while always ensuring a high recovery rate of the lead component.

The method for treating fine powder containing the calcium component and the lead component comprises a step (A) of mixing the fine powder containing the calcium component and the lead component, water and sulfuric acid to obtain slurry which has pH6.0 and contains calcium sulfate, a step (B) of adding a sulfurizing agent to the slurry obtained at the step (A) to obtain slurry containing calcium sulfate and sulfurized lead, a step (C) of measuring the pH of the slurry obtained at the step (B) and adding sulfuric acid to the slurry when the measured pH exceeds 6.0 to adjust the pH of the slurry again to 6.0, a step (D) of adding a collecting agent to the slurry obtained at the step (C) to hydrophobilize the sulfurized lead, and a step (E) of subjecting the slurry obtained at the step (D) to flotation treatment to obtain a floating mineral containing the sulfurized lead and a precipitated mineral containing calcium sulfate.
