PURPOSE: To obtain the titled homogeneous two without damaging the two, by winding a pitch fiber two spun through a spinneret around plural rollers having a circular cross-sectional shape and mutually tilted central shafts crossing the forward direction of the tow.
CONSTITUTION: Pitch fibers 2 spun through a spinneret 1 are passed through an oiling roller 3, oiled with a bundling oiling agent and bundled into a two, which is then wound around two rollers 4 and 5 having a circular cross-sectional shape at least once and taken off. In the process, rollers having respective central shafts crossing the forward direction of the tow and the central shaft of one roller tilted to the central shaft of the other are used to take off and afford the aimed fiber tow. The tiling angle (θ) of the central shafts of the rollers is preferably 2W15°.
