To prevent the development of flaw and crack on a casting by positioning the lower end of a push-down rod at the upper parts of a sprue or/and a riser of the casting, lowering the push-down rod and and a pallet at the almost same speed or in synchronizing condition and taking out the casting from a self-curing mold.
An upper molding flask F is laid on a flask receiving frame base 15. A table 12 and the pallet 14 is elevated by extension-working an elevating/lowering cylinder 10 and the pallet 14 is stopped by bringing into contact with the lower part of the casting W and also, the lower end of the push-down rod 22 is stopped by pushing to the upper parts of the sprue Y or/and the riser by working a push-down cylinder 23. The push-down cylinder 23 and the elevating/lowering cylinder 10 are worked so that the lowering speed is in the synchronizing condition or at the almost same speed, and the casting W is lowered under condition of interposing the casting W from the upper and the lower parts. At this time, the sprue Y or/and the riser in the casting W break through the self-curing mold M supported together with the upper molding flask F on the flask receiving frame base 15 and the casting W is transferred onto the pallet 14.
