To provide a method (20) of testing airtightness of a package component (2).
The method of testing airtightness of a package component (2) comprises: i) a step (22) of providing a sensor element (4) in a package (2a), where the sensor element is configured to detect the pressure in the package component (2); ii) a package sealing step (24) of sealing the package component (2); and iii) a pressure detecting step (26) of detecting the pressure in the package component (2).
