Title:
METHOD FOR THE THERMAL CONDITIONING OF ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT MOUNTED IN AIRCRAFT AND SYSTEMS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0524587
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To facilitate a thermal adjustment of electronic device by a method wherein a flow of ram air is collected, the ram air is transferred to a cooling device giving a thermal load gradient to a flow of air and then the flow of air generated from this cooling device is transferred to a second cooling device giving a thermal load gradient to the flow of air.

CONSTITUTION: There is provided a temperature adjusting system for use in cooling ram air collected through an air intake 1 and divided into a branch 1a extending along an arrow F1 and another branch 1b extending along an arrow F2. A direct current generator 3 is connected to a pressure-reducing turbine 2 driven by air transferred from the branch 1a. Electrical current generated there is supplied to the system of the thermo-electronic elements 5, 6 through conductor lines 4a, 4b. The element 5 having cold connecting points collected there of these thermo-electronic elements 5, 6 is installed against a conduit 7 for transferring air in the directions F3, F4 to an electronic device 8 to be cooled. In addition, the hot connecting points of the thermo-electronic element 6 assembled in a convection type heater are cooled with the ram air transferred by the branch 1b.
