Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a fact that an edge of a thin steel strip is caught at the time of performing flash trimming after welding, and the thin steel strip is dragged by a movement of a cutting tool, and it is split.
CONSTITUTION: The welding/joining method for a thin steel strip has a characteristic feature of a fact that a joining part of a thin steel strip 1 and a thin steel strip 2 is cut by a side clip shear 3 before joining the thin steel strip 1 and the thin steel strip 2 whose width is different from that of the thin steel strip 1 and executing cold rolling, and the joining part of the thin steel strip 1 and the then steel strip 2 whose width is different from that of the thin steel strip 1 is formed to the same width.
