PURPOSE: To produce raw leaves of tea having excellent qualities and uniformity without requiring much labor and monitoring by controlling a transportation speed of a conveyor in proportion to weight of raw leaves of tea and throwing the raw leaves of tea to a piling device of raw leaves of tea always in a given area.

CONSTITUTION: At a time of collection of raw leaves of tea, weight of a unit of collection of raw leaves of tea having at least the same properties of raw leaves of tea is measured, transportation speed of a conveyor to a piling device of raw leaves of tea is controlled according to increase and decrease in the weight so as to throw the raw leaves of tea to the piling device of raw leaves of tea in a fixed area and the raw leaves of tea are fed to the piling device of raw leaves of tea continuously in a given area.
