PURPOSE: To improve a method to compensate and adjust a characteristic curve of a continuously variable transmission provided on a vehicle furnished with travelling drive devices on both sides so as to perform simpler handling and larger correctness.
CONSTITUTION: Each of characteristic curves (a), (b) is continuously drawn with regard to a control value J, in this case, these characteristic curves are detected and memorized by measuring the driven rotation number in accordance with continuation of points to close, and thereafter, each of the characteristic curves (a), (b) is compensated by an electronic constituting unit to influence the specified control value so that the respective driven rotation numbers become equal to each other regardless of each of the characteristic curves being different from each other at the time of control of transmissions A, B by the same setting control value in the middle of travel driving.
