Abstract:

To provide a precise, accurate, reliable, and consistent method to manufacture a brush.

The method to cut bristles of a cosmetic brush with a laser beam is provided. This method includes to point the direction of the laser beam focussed on a bristle and the laser beam is kept in a condition focussing on the bristle during a time sufficient for completely cutting the bristle. A brush design which cannot be achieved by a conventional cutting method is realized by increasing the precision of the laser beam as a cutter.
